Tim Sears Jr. Earns $500 as Compass FCU's Favorite Fulton Speedway Driver

OSWEGO, NY (May 3, 2024) – Tim Sears Jr. will be recognized as Compass Federal Credit Union’s favorite Fulton Speedway driver and awarded $500 during the speedway’s season opener this Saturday, May 4.

From April 1 – April 30, all members that made a transaction at Compass Federal Credit Union’s Fulton location entered into a chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to this Saturday’s Compass Federal Credit Union season opening event.  At the same time, members could also list their favorite speedway driver.

When all entries were calculated, Tim Sears Jr., the defending Fulton Speedway Modified champion, was declared this year’s favorite driver.

More than 15 drivers received votes, with Tony Finch and Clayt Brewer III receiving the second and third highest totals.

Fulton Speedway is Oswego County’s Saturday night home for DIRTcar 358-Modified racing, featuring some of the biggest names in the sport including “Lightning” Larry Wight, Sears Jr. and Ronnie Davis III.
