Penny Pinchers Program Details
Qualifications
In order to qualify for the Penny Pinchers Program the member must have a checking account with a Debit Card.
Enrollment
A member is able to enroll in the Penny Pinchers Program in person with any Member Service Representative. Enrollment is associated with the checking account, and the program will apply to all active debit cards associated with the enrolled checking account.
Program Details
After enrollment, each purchase using your debit card will be rounded up to the nearest whole dollar. The rounded amount will then be transferred from the checking account attached to the debit card into the Penny Pinchers Savings Account under the same membership. Each rounded amount will be between $0.01 and $0.99. Transfers will be completed at the end of the day. If the available balance of the checking account is less than the aggregated transfer amount, the transfer will not occur.
What transactions qualify?
Purchases run as debit or credit made with your debit card attached to your checking account enrolled in the Penny Pinchers Program.
ATM transactions or whole dollar amount transactions do NOT qualify.
Deposits and transfers are NOT allowed into this account.
Compass FCU reserves the right to cancel or modify the Penny Pinchers Program or terminate a member’s enrollment at any time without prior notice, at the credit union’s discretion.
