OSWEGO, NY (March 17, 2025) – Compass Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Margie Sincavage to Branch Manager of the credit union’s main office, located at 131 George St. in Oswego.
Sincavage joined Compass in 2013 as a part-time Member Service Representative, before moving to full-time in 2019. By 2020, Sincavage was named the credit union’s Head Teller, overseeing and managing all Member Service Representatives at the George St. branch.
In 2022, Sincavage moved to the position of Card Specialist, where she assisted members with debit and credit card fraud inquiries, while providing members with all pertinent information regarding their credit and debit cards.
With more than 12 years of service to the credit union, in various capacities, Sincavage is set to help guide and manage the credit union’s George St. office.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to step into my new role with the credit union,” said Sincavage. “We have a great team at Compass that is eager to continue to help provide our growing membership with the same customer service in which they have grown accustom to over the last several years, while also working to offer fresh and innovative new products and services. I am excited to see what the future holds as we edge closer to our 60th anniversary of serving the Oswego County community.”
Sincavage’s promotion to Branch Manager follows the retirement of Compass FCU’s Assistant Manager, Sue Fowler.
Fowler joined Compass in 2016 following a merger with Oswego Heritage Federal Credit Union, where she served as a Member Service Representative, Loan Officer and eventually as a Branch Manager. After joining Compass in August of 2016, Fowler advanced from Loan Officer to the credit union’s Compliance Officer, before being named Assistant Manager in January of 2021.
Fowler plans to enjoy retirement with her husband, kids and two grandchildren. Traveling will become a priority, while also volunteering for some of the many organizations the credit union has worked with through the years.
