OSWEGO, NY (February 19, 2025) – Oswego’s Leprechaun Basketball league recently completed installation of a brand-new scoreboard system, with assistance from Compass Federal Credit Union’s annual Charity Golf Tournament.
The new system, which consists of two new scoreboards, replaces an outdated, unsupportable system that was previously installed more than 35 years ago.
Funding for the project was assisted by the credit union’s annual Charity Golf Tournament, held at Battle Island Golf Course in Fulton, as well as from the Garrett Dunsmoor Memorial Foundation.
The Compass Federal Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament is an annual gathering of community members and business professionals that share the common goal of helping to raise funds to benefit youth sports organizations in the cities of Oswego and Fulton.
Compass is proud to have previously benefitted Oswego Youth Soccer, Oswego Pop Warner Football, Oswego Little League, Oswego Minor Hockey, Oswego Girls Softball, Fulton Basketball and Fulton Wrestling with funds raised by the partners and supporters of the Compass Federal Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament.

The 2025 edition of the Compass FCU Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Saturday, June 7 at Battle Island Golf Course. More information will be available in the coming weeks.
