OSWEGO, NY (October 9, 2024) – Compass Federal Credit Union will celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day® with three days of giveaways from October 16-18.
Compass invites its members to stop into each of its offices on Wednesday, October 16; Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 for an opportunity to win $1,650 in gift cards.
Members that make a transaction at any Compass office will be eligible to enter into a chance to win one of nine gift cards being given away on each day of the celebration. Members are limited to one entry, per day, per office. Members are eligible to win more than one gift card, but only one per day. Winners will be contacted the following business day.
Each day will see three $50 and three $25 VISA gift cards awarded. Grand prize offerings will be gas cards in the amount of $75 on October 16, $100 on October 17 and $150 on October 18. Three gas cards will be awarded on each day. In total, $1,650 in gift cards will be awarded across three days.

On Thursday, October 17, International Credit Union (ICU) Day® celebrates the spirit of the global credit union movement. The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement's history, promote its achievements, recognize hard work and share member experiences. International Credit Union (ICU) Day® has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948.
The ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the tremendous work that credit unions and other financial cooperatives are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged. The day of festivities for credit unions and financial cooperatives globally includes fundraisers, open houses, contests, picnics, volunteering and parades.
