OSWEGO, NY (January 18, 2024) – As part of the credit union movement, Compass Federal Credit Union is dedicated to giving back and helping to provide for the local community.
This effort continued in 2023 as the Compass Federal Credit Union Contributions Committee helped to facilitate Compass FCU partnerships with more than 80 local organizations that help to serve those in the Oswego County community. Compass contributions for the past year surpassed more than $33,000.
Aside from monetary contributions, Compass continued its local food and toy drive efforts, helped to provide winter clothing needs for local school districts, and once again coordinated its annual Charity Golf Outing, which supported youth sports in the area.
“Together, we are not just a financial institution; we are a force for good in the places we serve,” said Compass FCU Chief Operations Officer, Eric Morris. “Our commitment to community involvement goes beyond transactions – it’s about building lasting relationships and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those around us.”
The Compass FCU Contributions Committee is already hard at work with preparations in the new year and looking forward to working with and helping to serve the Oswego County community.
